This was interesting - we did a set route including all types of driving in a golf 2.0 tdi, prius and 118d. the 118d was the most economical but only just and the Prius did genuinely well. It was very good in the towns and justified it's role as an economical alternative to a diesel. However, it was the furthest away from its ambitious headline figure.
