Introduced in the market in 2010, this Toyota iQ2 1.0 Multidrive is the 1st generation of the microcar model. The 996cc front mounted engine of the model variant has a power output of 68 hp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 91 nm. The model variant uses petrol as fuel. When compared to other versions in this generation, the hatchback is fitted with the smallest engine. The hatchback reaches 100km/h in 15.5 seconds at a top speed of 150 km/h. The engine is mated with a 5-speed automatic transmission. With a combined fuel consumption of 4.7 l/100km, the CO2 emissions are fixed at 110 g/km. This hatchback has room for 4 people. The 3-door Toyota iQ2 1.0 Multidrive has 2985 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2000 mm, it is 1500 mm tall and 1680 mm wide. The Toyota iQ was first presented at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show as a concept vehicle. In 2008 at the Geneva Auto Show it was introduced and set to go into production and reach the european market in January 2009. The iQ is available with a 5- or 6- speed manual transmission and models with the 1.33 litre engine already include start/stop system.
