The Hammel car, a four-wheeled vehicle, was built by Urban Johansen und Albert F. Hammel in Copenhagen, Denmark, around 1886 (say some) or between 1887 and 1890 (say others). The first claim turns the Hammel into one of the first automobiles in the world. Only one car was built, which is still in running condition and can be seen at the Danish Museum of Science and Technology in Copenhagen.
