Launched in 2000, the Vauxhall Agila is a re-badged Opel Agila. The vehicle is a badge-engineered version of the Suzuki Wagon R and Suzuki Splash manufactured by Magyar Suzuki
The first generation of the Vauxhall Agila was based on the Suzuki Wagon R+. The Agila was powered by 1.0 and 1.2-litre petrol engines, which were smaller than the European-market 1.3-litre found in the European-market Wagon R+, but still more powerful and refined.
