Bugatti’s extremely high-performance model EB Veyron was first revealed at the 2001 Geneva Motor Show, in its earliest prototype form. The car was immediately announced as having been conceived with the purpose of being the world’s fastest, most powerful and most expensive automobile ever to exist in history.
A few months later that year, at the 2001 Frankfurt Motor Show, the production-ready version of the Veyron was finally demonstrated by Bugatti. The formally dubbed “Bugatti EB Veyron 16.4” was supposed to start being factory-produced in 2003, but some problems with the car’s handling and high-speed stability made its production be delayed for an indefinite period of time.
Finally, in September 2005, the Château Saint Jean received the final, ready-to-build version of the awfully powerful Bugatti Veyron.
