In 2010 Bugatti presented a new version of its Veyron model. The Super Sport Veyron was the result of customer requests for the brand to create a Veyron with a sportier and enhanced driving experience.

The engineers at Bugatti came up with a car delivering a power output of 1,200-hp (882 kW) and maximum torque of 1500 Nm. The Veyron Super Sport has a limited top speed of 415 km/h in order to protect its tyres. The first five Super Sport’s to be built constituted a special series which had the same configuration as the landspeed record car.

As a further development of the 1,001-hp Bugatti Veyron 16.4, launched in 2005, the Super Sport features a twin clutch gearbox with seven speeds, a precise driving performance in bends and excellent stability when braking and accelerating.
