Subaru unveiled the third iteration of its concept Viziv at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. The vehicle is 4.4m long and inspired by the phrase "Vision for Innovation" and, according to Subaru, was developed as a vehicle for urban families with an active lifestyle .
In terms of design the car features scissor front doors and rear doors that slide back. One of the most eye-catching points of the new design are the inverted C-shaped headlights and the circular LED fog lights. The hexagonal shape of the front grille is also transported to the rear area of the vehicle.
The Viziv 2 is equipped with four engines, one diesel and three electric. The 1.6-liter boxer diesel engine combined with one of the electric engines provide power to the front wheels while the other two electric motors, powered by a lithium-ion battery, activate the rear axle. The Viziv 2 is equipped with a CVT automatic transmission.
