The Passat CC R-Line was launched in 2012 by Volkswagen.

The package is based on the Passat CC Sport powered by a 2.0 TSI engine with 200hp and a six-speed DSG transmission. The extras in the R-Line package include a more aggressive front bumper with larger intakes and integrated projector fog lights, deeper side skirts, smokes tail lights, unique 18in wheels, R-Line tread plates and a new, multi-function steering wheel on DSG models.

The package ensures that buyers get every available option on the CC and more. It comes with Bi-Xenon headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting, LED tail lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, automatic climate control, heated 12-way power seats and touchscreen radio with eight speakers, Bluetooth and iPod connectivity. These are all optional features available on the standard CC.
