Volkswagen is celebrating 35 years since the Golf GTI first debuted in 1976 with a special anniversary edition called the Golf GTI Edition 35.

Following a long tradition of GTI anniversary specials, the Edition 35 adds a number of exclusive features to the standard model. These include a redesigned front bumper, “35” markings on the wing panels, door sill plates, head restraints and centre seat panel, and a metal key ring. Most importantly, engine power has also been increased by 25 HP from 210 to 235.
