The Volkswagen Scirocco R was launched in 2009. It is the 1st generation of the compact model. The version is powered by a front-mounted petrol 1984cc engine with a power output of 265 hp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 350 nm. This is the most powerful version of the series. The engine of the fixed-head coupé has the highest horsepower value when compared with the other variants. Being able to reach a maximum speed of 250 km/h, it sprints from 0 to 100km/h in 6 seconds. This car holds the record for top speed in this series. It is the fastest version in the line-up. This front wheel drive version has a manual transmission with a 6-speed gearbox. It features an average fuel consumption of 8.1 l/100km that translates into 189 g/km of CO2 emissions. This Volkswagen Scirocco (Modern) features rack & pinion steering, and it wears disc brakes. As for the seating arrangement, it offers space for up to 4 persons.
