First introduced in 2009 the Volkswagen Transporter 2.0 TDI Van Sportline is part of Transporter's 5th generation, with the code name T5. Under the hood, the version is powered by a straight 4 1968cc engine which delivers maximum output of 180 hp at 4000 rpm and a maximum torque of 400 nm. The van (panelvan) features the smallest available engine in this generation. The engine is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. The performance of the vehicle is reflected on the top speed of 191 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 9.9 seconds. In terms of efficiency, the utility variant's combined fuel consumption is fixed at 7.5 l/100km. CO2 emissions are becoming increasingly more important in car’s efficiency. The Volkswagen Transporter is the most eco-friendly car of this series. It produces the least amount CO2 emissions. As for the seating arrangement, it offers space for up to 3 persons.
