Volkswagen launched the Kombi Last Edition to celebrate the end of production of the model in Brazil after 56 years.
The Last Edition is limited to 600 units and comes with a numbered plaque on the dashboard, two-tone blue and while paint, whitewall tires, white wheel caps and tinted rear windows. The grill trim, headlight rings and indicator trim are all body color, and the indicators have clear lenses. There is a decal on the side that says "56 anos - Kombi Last Edition."
Inside, the Last Edition has blue fabric curtains for the side and rear windows, and the fasteners have the "Kombi" logo on them. The seats and door panels are covered in blue and white two-tone vinyl upholstery. The cabin and luggage area are covered in gray carpet. The Last Edition also gets an updated radio with MP3 support and aux-in and USB ports.
All of the cars come with a 1.4-liter engine with 77hp when fueled with gasoline or 79hp when fueled with ethanol. The only transmission option is a four-speed manual.
Each car also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
