The V60 Polestar was launched in 2013.

The body is slightly modified with a new front splitter, rear spoiler and rear diffuser. The interior features a new steering wheel, sport seats and Polestar blue trim.

The 3.0-liter inline-six engine gets a new twin-scroll Borg Warner turbo, new intercooler, and a larger diameter 2.5in stainless steel exhaust with twin 3.5in tail pipes. The transmission is a six-speed automatic with paddle shifters and a Haldex all-wheel drive system. The traction control system has been retuned to allow for more slip. The performance gets both Polestar models to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 250km/h.

The chassis gets 80% stiffer springs with higher performance Öhlins shocks and 20in Polestar wheels. The brakes are upgraded with 371mm ventilated front discs with six-piston Brembo calipers and 302mm ventilated discs in the rear.
