about this car

The Concept XC Coupe uses Volvo’s new Scalable Product Architecture that will be used on all of the company’s next generation medium and large cars.

The Concept blends the design of a coupe and crossover. It features a new one-piece, metal grill and two-piece, stacked headlights with T-shaped running lights.

The LED taillights will also be carried over to future production cars. It is made from a single strip of LEDs that outline the silhouette of the car’s rear.

The concept itself is entirely white with gray trim. The only pops of color are the orange front and rear skid plates.

The concept is meant to show the next generation of Volvo design, and the concept is how to integrate safety technology, low emissions and a “Scandinavian active lifestyle” into one vehicle.
