Westfield

Westfield Sportscars was founded by Chris Smith in 1982. Because Westfield automobiles were very similar to Lotus Cars, Caterham sued Westfield that had to change the design of the cars. Although externally there are some resemblances, Westfield remains true to the use of glass fiber whilst Caterham has frequently used aluminium to make the car’s body.

In 2006, Potenza Sport Cars became the owner of Westfield. The company produces over 400 automobiles a year.
