Woodill Fiberglass Body Corp. was founded by Blanchard Robert "Woody" Woodill (dealer of Willys and Dodge), in Tustin, California, USA, in 1952, to build a small sports car, the Woodill Wildfire, for Woody himself. He and his neighbor, Howard Miller, had such success in building such an extremely stylish and high quality car that car builder Willys convinced Woody to produce vehicles for Willys. While small changes were being introduced, Willys was sold to Kaiser Motors, which failed to realize the potential of the car. Woodill was built in the USA until 1958.
