Pagani Zonda (Italy, 1999-present)

Horacio Pagani completed his first factory car in 1999, which was first publicly seen at the Geneva Motor Show that year. The first Pagani Zonda model is still being produced these days, in the form of different variants.

Formula 1 champion Juan Manuel Fangio was involved in the beginning of the creation of the Zonda, particularly in its conception and engineering. Thus this model was supposed to have been named “Fangio F1”, but such intention was dropped upon Fangio’s death in 1995. An air current that crosses above Argentina (Horacio Pagani’s birth country), the Zonda wind, was then used to ultimately dub the first Pagani car.
