"Forgotten Greats #7"
When it comes to Nissan, every car they make is completely overshadowed by the Skyline. Prove me wrong. Anyhow, the Skyline has motorsport history (JGTC), supercar status (GTR-R35), legendary status (Lap record on the Nurburgring with the R34 spec Nur), and sports car status (EVERY OTHER SKYLINE IN HISTORY). Which is a shame, because greater cars live its shadow. Like the R92cp race car. The R92cp was set to run in the 1992 LeMans series.
The car was powered by an 892hp, twin turbo V8, mated to a 5 speed manual. The car I write about was the prototype, so I actually dont know if the car actually raced (hey I get all my info from MotorTrend and Granturismo). Last time I remember, the car hit 209 mph, which is impressive considering the 5 cogs in the transmission. So thats all I know. The site probably has more info, but Im too lazy to check. And thats the way the cookie crumbles
