A1 clubsport quattro (Germany, 2011)

In 2011, Audi unveiled the A1 Clubsport quattro concept, created specifically for the Wörthersee VW-group owners’ meeting.

The Clubsport features 19-inch ‘Turbine’ alloys, with adjustable coilover suspension providing a purposeful stance further enhanced by front wings, doors and rear side panels widened by 60 millimetres. The exterior of the car shows-off large bonnet air outlets, carbon fibre elements and a prominent side-exit exhaust, reminiscent of Audi’s successful A4 DTM racer.

The motorsport theme continues on the interior – with the rear bench seat being lost in favour of a large cross-brace and two helmet holders. Carbon-fibre accents on the steering wheel spokes, aluminium pedals and a host of extra dials; for oil pressure, boost pressure and system voltage respectively complete the look.
