The Abarth 500 Tenebra was introduced at the 2013 NAIAS and comes in matte grey paint with dark chrome trim, gloss black trim on the headlights, taillights and parking lights, 16in dark wheels, a body stripe and grey mirror caps. The Abarth scorpion logo is in gloss black on the roof. Inside, the car get black leather with grey stitching, a flat-bottom steering wheel and black leather covering the instrument cluster. There is also carbon fiber trim around the instrument cluster. The rear holds an 8in subwoofer.

The 500 Abarth is a performance model based on the Fiat 500. It has a 1.4 L engine with IHI RHF3-P turbocharger which has an output of 135 PS (99 kW; 133 hp) at 5500 rpm and 180 N·m (130 lb·ft) (206 N·m (152 lb·ft) in sport mode) torque at 3000 rpm.
