Alfa Romeo MiTo (Italy, 2008-present)

The first generation Alfa Romeo MiTo (type 955) was launched in 2008. The model is sold as three-door hatchback with front-wheel drive and  was designed by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo.

The 2008 MiTo is based on the Fiat Small platform which it shares with the Fiat Grande Punto, and the Opel and Vauxhall Corsa D.

The refreshed 2014 MiTo has a new grill design with a chrome-plated frame that is inspired by the Giulietta. It also gets a burnished finished around the headlights. Anthracite gray has been added as a new exterior color. There are three new upholstery combinations in black/titanium, black/red or Heritage black. The dashboard is available in either gray/black or black/red.

The interior is available with a 5in touchscreen infotainment screen available with or without navigation.

The 2014 MiTo has the new 0.9 Turbo TwinAir engine with 105hp and 107lb-ft of torque. It uses 4.2l/100km and emits 99g/km of CO2. There is also the new 1.4 LPG Turbo with 120hp. The MiTo range now includes two diesel options, five petrol engines and the LPG option.

Prices for the MiTo start at €14,800 for the Impression 1.4-liter 70hp car and going to the Quadrifoglio Verde 1.4 MultiAir Turbo 170hp for €22,250.
