Suzuki Alto (Japan, 1979-present)

Alto is a small subcompact car introduced in May 1979. Throughout the years, it has changed significantly and it’s currently on the seventh generation. Launched in 2009, the latest series offers a 5-door hatchback with a 1.0l petrol engine. The car is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed automatic transmission. Suzuki Alto’s low price and good fuel economy have made the model successful in some markets.
