Suzuki was founded in Japan in 1909 as a loom manufacturer. By 1950, Japan needed affordable cars, and the idea of expanding to automobile production that Suzuki had from the late 1930s was put into practice. In 1955, Suzuki’s first car model was released, the Suzulight.

Today, Suzuki focuses on the production of compact cars, and its range of models goes from sedans to wagons and SUVs.
