The American Austin Car Company went bunkrupt in 1935 and Roy Evas bought it and reoganized un der the name American Bantam. The company produced automobiles from 1937 to 1945, and in total manufactured about 6000 car units. American Bantam is more famous for being the inspiration behinf Donald Duck's car.
