sports car. Production of the 4C coupe has been pushed back slightly to a late 2013 introduction with sales beginning in early 2014. The convertible will be introduced a year after the coupe.
The 4C coupe will use Alfa's 1750cc four-cylinder turbo and is planned to weigh 900kg. Acceleration to 100km/h will be around 4.5 seconds. The 4C will use a new generation of the 1750cc engine using an aluminum engine block instead of cast iron. That should save 25kg. The transmission will be dual-clutch automatic.
