has added a gauge outside of its Ingolstadt factory that displays when each Audi has been completed and where the car is going.

The digital panel covers 500m² of the outside of the assembly building and is visible to people passing the plant by car and train. Audi completes about 2,500 cars a day at the factory.

Factory manger Peter Kössler calls it a, “new visual identity intended to convey the fascination of automotive manufacturing."

Audi's goal is to make its vehicle production more transparent. It wants to interact more with consumers before they even decide to buy a car. This is one step towards that goal.
