. Although, the concept has been tried before my Mercedes with the R-Class. 

The other vehicle that Audi is considering is taking advantage of its new ownership of Ducati and building a scooter or city-focused motorcyle. Audi says that it would not simply be a rebadged Ducati, but it would use Ducati's motorcycle experience to help it build the bike. 

The motorcycle in the gallery is a one-off concept that Audi built in 1976 with the engine from an Audi 50.
