Audi Continues Lead in Afternoon Sebring Practice

Audi had another very good day of 12 Hours of Sebring Practice. For the fifth time in six practice session, Audi's cars have been in first, second and third place. There is one more practice session this evening and one tomorrow morning, and then qualifying begins. 

Among the petrol cars in LMP1, the OAK Racing OAK Pescarolo and Muscle Milk Pickett Racing HPD ARX-03a traded fastest laps in their class with the OAK Racing car edging the Honda out. 

In the LMP2 class, both Level 5 HPD ARX-03bs put in flying laps during the final lap of practice to set their fastest times of the session and put them in first and second place in their class. Until that final lap, it had appeared the Morgan from Conquest Endurance would win the class. 

It appeared that Uwe Alzen in the BMW Team RRL M3 had the fastest time in GTE-Pro in hand, but he was beat out by Gianmaria Bruni in the AF Corse F458 Italia on his 18th lap near the end of the session. 

Julien Canal was dominant in GTE-AM with a lap that was a second faster than the next car in the class and faster than both a GTE-Pro and LMP2 car. 

Just before the practice session began, Nissan gave the Deltawing its public debut, and Marino Franchitti took it around the track.
