Audi unveil Limited Edition R8 in celebration of Le Mans victory

To celebrate their tenth Le Mans title, Audi is launching the R8 V8 Limited Edition – a 187 mph supercar limited to 100 units which will feature an all-new look and higher level of standard equipment.

Reserved for UK customers only, the R8 V8 Limited Edition is based off the R8 V8 Coupe and will receive exterior upgrades which include R8 GT-inspired titanium finish 19-inch ‘5-arm double-spoke Y design’ alloy wheels, red brake callipers and a Titanium Metallic paint finish as a no-cost optional extra. The Limited Edition also gets some extra inside kit included over the standard spec model comprising of sat nav, the Audi Music Interface (AMI), an interior light package, mobile Bluetooth interface with seat-belt microphones and a Bang and Olufsen sound system. Crimson red accents and stitching also add to the Limited Edition’s distinctiveness which can also be furthered with an optional carbon package that adds carbon sigma sideblades, door mirrors, monoposto, inlays and door sill trims.   

Audi’s magnetic ride adaptive suspension system, which uses road sensors to monitor conditions and automatically adjust the dampers accordingly, is also included as standard.        

The R8 V8 Limited Edition is being made available to order this month for £93,935 with either manual or R tronic automated manual transmission. All models are to ship to the UK with the first deliveries taking place in October.
