Everybody who has ever owned a cat knows, that our feline friends have a very special relationship with the motorized species. Of course, that relationship is on the one hand dominated by the cats' insatiable curiosity that will lead them to explore and examine each and every object that comes their way, on the other hand by their determination to find the warmest and coziest places for their extensive daily siesta.
But besides their nosiness, looking at these images also reveals the fragility of these animals when facing our fire-breathing, roaring, metal machines. I doesn't take much to lose a life on the road and even with nine cat lives as back-up, we drivers should show some respect for so much cuteness, drive more carefully and take a 'brake' for the cat!

Curiosity has killed the cat - that's easily said. But may be it also made her a veritable engine mechanic, who knows?

But the service is more than complete, also the tyres will see some in-depth, inside-out and paws-on examination before the car will roll back onto the road.
The guardian
Of course, there are also the watchful guardian cats around, that will quietly keep an eye on the car entrusted to their care. Their defense of the same may be as quick as painful to any audacious attacker.

Ideally, the guardian cats even adjust to their environment and camouflaged will ambush any thieve that comes their way.

Others however restrict themselves to enjoy the pure driving pleasure, landscapes passing by, there is so much to see...

The cheeky play-cat makes the car a playground with endless possibilities to play hide-and-seek. Who needs a theme park if there are cars?
A shelter for the needy
The abandoned car: A shelter from wind and rain and the burning sun, a place to eat and rest in peace.
Luxury bed
And who but a homeless cat has so many luxurious bed chambers to chose from every day?
