-inspired art installation for the Clerkenwell Design Week, the UK's leading independent design festival, from May 21-23. The students worked with Jaguar's Advanced Design team to mock up the car digitally and in clay before creating the car in copper.

The students came from the MA Vehicle Design and MA Textile Design Departments and were tasked with creating a design study to show the future of Jaguar forms. Nine teams presented design studies to the Jaguar Advanced Design team, which selected the project from Ewan Gallimore and Claire Miller to create in full scale.

"Our form relates to the Jaguar brand through its sculptural volumes, bespoke materials and visual lightness. These elements helped us to create a sculpture that aimed to display a seamless transition between interior and exterior space," said Miller.

Once the Jaguar design team selected their work, Gallimore and Miller had two weeks to bring the design to life.

The final design takes the important lines of Jaguar sports car design and renders them in sheets of copper. The shape is simplified to just include the grill, hood, passenger compartment and wheels.
