Fiat has used the Bologna Auto Show as an opportunity to show its entire 2012 model lineup. There are several models that we have already seen such as the Fiat Freemont, Fiat Panda, 500 Twinair, 2012 Punto, Qubo Trekking, Abarth 695, Lancia Thema, Ypsilon, Delta and Voyager.
The only other new models that Fiat is showing at the Bologna Auto Show are the Abarth 595 and Punto Scorpione.
The 595 is making its world premiere at Bolgna and comes in two models: Turismo and Competizione. Regardless of model, it comes with the 1.4 turbo engine with 160hp, and it has 230Nm of torque in Sport Mode that adds an overboost function to the engine to add power. It takes 7.4 seconds to get to 100km/h and uses 6.5l/100km. It uses Abarth's Torque Transfer Control to keep torque steer in check, and the 595 comes with standard xenon headlights.
The Turismo offers a two-tone paint job with an aluminum 595 logo on the side panel and tailgate. It has 17in wheels. It comes with an automatic transmission with paddle shifters, and the interior has flocked fabric with aluminum trim on the pedals, kick plate and gear shift.
The Competizione uses a five-speed manual. It has brembo brake calipers, 17in wheels and the same 595 logo on the side and tail.
All models get leather seats with Alcantara inserts with the 595 logo embroidered on the headrests.
The Punto Scorpione is a new, limited edition of the Abarth Punto being shown in Bologna. It is limited to 99 units that have two-tone Nero Scorpione livery with matte black paint for the hood and roof. Each also comes with a snowboard. The Punto Scorpione is powered by a 1.4 liter turbocharged engine producing 180hp with a 216km/h top speed. It can acclerate to 100km/h in 7.5 seconds.
The Punto Scorpione gets a few other upgrades as well like: floating, perforated and self-ventilated front disc brakes with four-piston brake calipers, perforated rear disc brakes, high performance front brake pads, front and rear Koni shock absorbers and specially lowered springs. Inside it has black leather seats with red and yellow stiching.
Finally, Abarth is offering a winter kit for the Abarth Punto and Abarth 500. It comes with 17in steel wheels (16in for the Abarth 500) with winter tires, a snowboard rack and Abarth-liveried snowboard.
