Goodwood Festival of Speed's 2014 Theme is the 'Champions of Motorsport'

The Goodwood Festival of Speed has announced that “'Addicted to Winning - The Unbeatable Champions of Motor Sport” is its 2014 theme, and it will celebrate championship-winning cars and motorcycles and their drivers and riders. The 2014 Festival of Speed will begin on Thursday, June 26, 2014.

"I am really looking forward to having so many great cars and drivers here at the Festival of Speed next summer to celebrate our 2014 'Addicted to Winning' theme. For me it is always magical to see so many of the world's greatest drivers, riders and machines in action up my 1.16-mile drive,” said event founder Lord March.

will be the featured marque, and there will be a dedicated Maserati class at Goodwood’s concours d’elegance.

The event is already promising to feature important race winners going back to Bentleys five Le Mans wins in the 20s and going up to Sebastien Loeb’s nine consecutive WRC championships.

In the realm of bikes, the event will feature the motorcycles of champions like Giacomo Agostini and Valentino Rossi.

The Goodwood Revival will be hold from September 12-14, but no details about been announced about it yet.
