High End Luxury and Supercars Being Shown at MGM Grand Detroit for NAIAS

Here is a story of exclusivity to the detriment of your company. The Gallery at the MGM Grand Detroit for will host a exhibition of high end cars and motorcycles from companies like Bentley, Corvette, Morgan, Maserati and many other.

The event takes place on January 8, the evening before the opening of the North American International Auto Show and will be catered by famed chef Wolfgang Puck. The exhibit at the Gallery is also the only place that the Lamborghini Aventador, Aston Martin One-77, Rolls Royce Ghost and Jaguar XKR-S will be on display. The cars will not be at the NAIAS.

Previously, the event had been invitation only, but this year the show at the Gallery will open its doors to the public, as long as they can pay the $500 per person entrance fee.

It seems to be over-valuing exclusivity to hold an event the day before the biggest automotive convention in America and not make your wares available to all of the journalists available there. Rich guys read about cars too.

Snobism at his most... 'Yep, I saw the Aventador man, not you' type of thing... Sad... Good news is that there are still free events, as the Knokke Grand Prix.

Too bad none of these types of events come to texas that much. And even if they do, it's one of those neighbour hood clubs that aren't that special.
