Jaguar XF Sportbrake Launching at Geneva

Jaguar will debut the XF Sportbrake at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6 by altering the mid-size sedan from the B-pillar back and boosts total luggage space to 1,675 liters.

The modified rear styling has the roof sloping to the hatchback behind the rear door. It adds a new rear window that looks into the luggage compartment. The added size gives rear passengers 48mm more headroom. The rear seats are totally different from the sedan. They split 60:40 and include a pass-through for skis.

There will be an optional Aero Pack, which is standard on the S model, that adds a deeper front bumper, side sills, rear valence and a different rear spoiler. The Black Pack adds gloss black trim to the exterior.

The Sportbrake comes with either Jaguar's 2.2 liter, four-cylinder diesel with 163ps and auto stop/start or its twin-turbo V6 diesel with either 240ps or 275ps depending on tune. All cars get an eight-speed automatic transmission.

All Sportbrakes will also come with standard, rear air suspension and optional active dampening for the front suspension.

The XF Sportbrake will be available in Europe later this year.

Good to see Jaguar coming back to the station wagons. Good looking estate, think it will be a nice add to the brand's lineup
