“We’ve got a pair of vehicles that have got great potential. It’s too early to say any more but put it this way, we don’t get any customers saying their cars are too fast. We have great ambition and we won’t disappoint,” said Range Rover Director Nick Rogers.

Getting more power from the Range Rover is relatively easy. It can add more boost to the supercharged V8 to increase power. It has already done so with the Jaguar XKR-SXKR-SJaguar XKR-SUnited Kingdom, 2011 > present6 photos

“You can go too far with the Evoque, but what’s so right about the car is it has what I call killer proportions. For the moment, we’re looking at the cabriolet and special editions – we could do a more overtly sporty one, for example,” said Land Rover Design Director Gerry McGovern.

The convertible Evoque was shown as a concept at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.
