Luxgen is the first Taiwanese automaker

Luxgen is Taiwan's first automaker, and it made its international debut at the Moscow International Motor Show. Its first model is the Luxgen7 SUV, but it is nearly ready to debut the Luxgen5 sedan as well.

Luxgen is working with Taiwanese tech company HTC to develop some of the systems for the cars. When the Luxgen7 goes on sale in Russia it will be available with an X-Ray Scanning night vision system and a touch screen infotainment system created by HTC

A 2.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 175hp, a five-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive powers the Luxgen7.

The Luxgen5 will have 170hp and a six-speed automatic transmission when it goes on sale.

The Luxgen CEO is the brand's luxury sedan. It says that the car has a completely isolated passenger cabin that keeps the drive and rear passengers isolated.

Luxgen is also planning electric versions of the Luxgen7 and CEO, but they will not go on sale until later.

Luxgen has opened its first international office in Moscow and will focus on the Russian market in the near future. The Luxgen7 will go on sale in Russia in the second quarter of 2013. It will open its first Russian dealer in Moscow in 2013 and begin rolling out across the country. It expects to begin selling the rest of its models in Russia in the third and fourth quarter of 2013.
