New Audi A2: a technology showcase

Audi has released details of its new electric A2. It is described as a “premium vehicle for metropolitan  areas with generous space”.

It comes with a powerful electric motor, which powers its 3.80 metre frame, enough, Audi says, to accommodate four people comfortably.

The Electric motor has 116 bhp and 270 Nm of torque which should be more than enough within the confines of a city.

The new A2 is to be shown at Frankfurt, with the show car painted matt white, with an opaque glass roof. It also comes with Audi’s trademark LED lighting technology.
