halo car starts at $97,395 for the standard car and $120,395 for the GTS trim. There is a $1,995 destination fee added to both cars as well.
Both trims use the same 8.4-liter V10 with 640hp and 600lb-ft of torque, a carbon fiber hood, roof and trunk lid with aluminum door panels. It is capable of a 206mph top speed, acceleration to 60mph in 2.9 seconds and a quarter mile time around 11 seconds. A six-speed manual transmission will be the only gearbox offered at launch.
SRT worked hard to improve the interior fit and trim on the new car. The seats are made from Kevlar and fiberglass. The instruments include a 7in, customizable cluster with an analog tachometer that includes shift-point market and peak rpm market. The display shows performance information including 0-60 time, 0-100 time, eighth-mile time and quarter-mile time.
Both cars are available with a painted stripe over the hood, roof and trunk. The first production cars will only have this available in white, but later in the year SRT will offer it in black, silver and gunmetal.
The GTS adds two-mode adjustable suspension with street track mode, a complete leather interior, power seats, six-spoke wheels and optional 18-speaker stereo.
There is also an optional Track Package that adds two-piece brake rotors, forged aluminum wheels and Pirelli tires. The package sheds 57lbs off of the Viper.
