The style of the DS3 will take styling cues from the Wild Rubis SUVDS DS Wild RubisFrance, 2013 > 2013 concept with chrome and gloss black trim at the front, heavily contoured bodywork and wraparound taillights. It will also get a major change by dropping Citroën’s iconic chevron at the front in factory of a stylized DS logo. The company believes that selling the car as a DS, rather than a Citroën, will be lucrative outside of Europe, especially in China.

The underpinnings will be a modified version of the Peugeot 208’s platform but with thinner high-strength steel to lower weight. The engines will also be borrowed from the 208.

To take on Mini, the DS3 will add even more personalization options like roof decals, colors and wheel options.
