Porsche Delivers 15,020 Cars Worldwide in May

delivered 15,020 cars in May, up 12.7% from the previous May. For the year so far, it has delivered 67,261 cars, a 19.1% improvement over the same period last year. 

“In terms of customer deliveries to date, we have exceeded our expectations in the ongoing year. Given the continuing volatility of the market development, we nevertheless remain cautiously optimistic for the second half of the year,” said Bernhard Maier, Porsche head of Marketing. 

Asia remains the brand's largest sales market with 5,317 cars delivered in May, up 12.3%. Of those, 3,206 were in China, up 5.9% from last year. For the year so far, Porsche has sold 25,159 cars in Asia, up 25.8%, and 15,038 of them were in China, up 20.4%. Porsche said that the CayennePorsche Cayenne Gen.2Germany, 2010 > 201727 versions

Europe is the brand's second largest market with 5,034 cars delivered in May, a 2.6% reduction from last May. This year Porsche has delivered 21,494 cars to Europe, up 3.7%. 

The Americas are responsible for 4,669 Porsche deliveries in May, up 36.2%. Of these, 3,927 were in the Unites States, up 37.7%. So far this year, Porsche has sold 20,608 cars in the Americas, up 30.9%, and 17,609 of them have been in the United States, up 30.9%.
