Roundup of Weekend Formula 1 Testing News

The final round of Formula 1 testing is over and all that is left is for the cars to hit the track in Australia in two weeks on March 18. 

On Saturday, Sergio Perez in the Sauber was the fastest car on track, but most cars completed large numbers of laps as race simulations. The other major news from Saturday was Red Bull and McLaren revealing the first upgrades to their 2012 cars. The upgraded Red Bull has a new exhaust design and new front wing. While the McLaren received aerodynamic upgrades.

On Sunday, Kimi Raikkonen in the Lotus was the fastest driver for the day, and the Lotus F1 Team had the fastest car during the final round of testing on three out of four days. Due to gearbox problems, Sebastian Vettel in the Red Bull managed just 23 laps.

OK, everything's set to begin the new season. I think we'll know where each team is exactly during FP3 and qualifying session at Albert Park. Let's see what happen then :)
