. Production of the five-door version has already begun and sales will start in November. Spaniards will have to wait until early 2013 to buy the car. The three-door and estate will come later in 2013, and both will be built at the Martorell factory.

The new Leon is meant to show the future for Seat design. It is 90kg lighter and and 52mm shorter than the previous Leon. It will be offered with six petrol and four diesel engines and options with stop/start.
