The Japanese brand will develop over the next two years its' new rally car based on the YarisYaris 3Toyota Yaris 3Japan, 2011 > present99 versions

. After so many years away from competition Toyota will have, besides preparing the car, to carefully assemble a team that may be at the same level of the brand history in the competition.

Back in the 90's, Toyota won four individual and three manufacturer world titles and had great figures behind the wheel, as Carlos Sainz and Juha Kankhunen.

The car is equipped with a turbocharged 1.6-liter direct injection called "Global Race Engine" which has an output above 300hp. The Yaris WRC chassis was designed with advanced simulation, testing and manufacturing techniques.
