It is an incredibly light weekend of racing this weekend after the excitement of the Grand Prix of Monaco and Indy 500 this weekend. The WRC begins the Rally of Greece, and the DTM heads to Austria. There is also the Grand Prix of Italy at Mugello for MotoGP.
We do not usually cover the IndyCar Series or Grand-Am Series in this column, but it is such a light week, we have included it just this once.
Belle Isle is a small island located in the Detroit River between Michigan, United States and Ontario, Canada. Most of the year, it is a city park for the city of Detroit, accessible by a bridge, but there is also a long history of auto racing on the island.
The IndyCar Series and Grand-Am Series will be holding back-to-back races on the island this weekend.
The IndyCar Series will hold two, 70-lap races on the 2.0-mile circuit. They will be held on Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2, and begin at 3:50pm ET (7:50pm GMT) on both days.
The Grand-Am Series race will be a two-hour endurance race and start at 12:25pm ET (4:25pm GMT) on Saturday.
The German touring car series heads to the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria for a 47-lap race around the 4.3km-long track. It is the third race on the series' calendar. The race begins at 1:30pm local time (11:30am GMT).

The NASCAR series heads to a 400-lap, 400-mile race at Dover International Speedway in Delaware. The race begins at 1:00pm ET (5:00pm GMT).
Jimmie Johnson still leads the points standings and has a 32-point lead over Carl Edwards.
