The Aston Martin DBS was unveiled at the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance and it is a high performance GT sports car.
The supercar is equipped with an Adaptive Damping System (ADS) that alters the suspension for the car to adjust to the road and weather conditions and provide the driver with a high level of control over the car. For the construction of the bodywork Aston Martin chose to use carbon fibre which prevented the car from becoming too heavy. As for the roof and doors, they were built using aluminum.
This car is powered by a V12 5935cc engine with a power output of 510 hp and produces 570Nm of torque at 5750rpm. The powertrain of the fixed-head coupé has been mated with an automatic 6-speed gearbox. According to Aston Martin it reaches the 100km/h mark in about 4.3 seconds at a top speed of 307 km/h making this sports car the fastest version from the DBS (modern) range as it has the highest top speed.
Regarding its efficiency, it features an average fuel consumption of 15.5 l/100km that translates into 367 g/km of CO2 emissions.
