The Vantage GT2 is based on the V8 engined road car and it is the most powerful racing car of the variant. The car had its debut in 2008 at the Grand Prix of Long Beach and in 2012 Aston Martin Racing will be racing with it in the 2012 24 Hours of Le Mans. This should probably be the last time the car will race as it should be substituted next year by GTE PRO's Vantage GTE.
For the 2012 race the Vantage GT2 will be driven by Christoffer Nygaard, Kristian Poulsen and Allan Simonsen.top
