The Q3 Jinlong Yufeng, which means Golden Dragon of the Wing, was unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show to celebrate the year of the dragon in China.

The body of the Jinlong Yufeng edition is painted Liuli Yellow with matt quartz-colored body panels with aluminum under-body guards. The roof rack has integrated LED lights in the front for extra lighting.

Inside, the car in dominated by black, grey and yellow. The seats, door panels and seat stitching are all in the Liuli Yellow with a Nappa Leather instrument panel and seats made from woven leather.

Power comes from the 2.5TFSI, five-cylinder engine with 310hp and a seven-speed S Tronic DSG transmission. Acceleration to 100km/h comes in 5.5 seconds and top speed is 250km/h.

In addition to the golden dragon theme, the concept is designed with kitesurfing in mind. Audi wants the car to be for young, active and affluent people. There are two kiteboards made from CFRP mounted on the roof of the car. The cargo floor is made from a mesh pouch that can be used to stow the boards when they are dirty or wet, or it can be used as a sun umbrella or seat cover when necessary. There are two cameras in the cargo area as well for filming your adventures. The images are transmitted back to the car via a WLAN connection.
