The British sports car produced Austin-Healy has been defunct since 1972. This company is the result of an agreement and only lasted for the period of time for which the founders signed for, which was never renovated.

The rights for the Austin-Healey brand are now owned by the Chinese car company Nanjing, which has reportedly signed for revitalization of Austin-Healey, although no date has yet been released for that to happen.
