History, Development and General Characteristics
In 1986 Bentley launched the second generation of the Continental, with slight retouches on its features.
The car was still being produced at Mulliner Park Ward, in London, England.
The 2nd generation of the Continental lasted only for 3 years, having been discontinued in 1989.

Similarly to its predecessor, the 2nd Continental was powered by a front-mounted 6.75-liter V8 engine.
A 3-speed automatic transmission is worked on the real-wheel drive car.

Bentley’s model Continental was firstly launched as the Bentley Corniche, as it was nothing more than a Rolls-Royce Corniche with the Bentley badge (Rolls Royce had bought Bentley back in 1931).
